ZFS file system has the property to set hard limit for users and resources. That way it has done away with the concept of File-systems as in Drives as we have in windows. Now if we have this layer and on the top of this layer if we can install KFS than we can overcome the limitation of the hard-links that I had discussed during the first session.

Moreover it also has a functionality of making its on cache devices. A user can makes ones own cache as and when needed.
This works as one more layer of memory between main memory and the storage devices. How fast is it compared to the paging concept, I have yet to investigate that, but it so seems that if a user is given power on deciding the cache size then it really enhances the effectiveness of the system as in Personal Management System. A player can attach a flash drive or a external hard-disk and make it a temporary memory, and thus can play a high resource consuming video game with ease. It is less known but, Windows vista has this facility. It has the function by which pen drives can be configured to work as an auxiliary memory device. But it has its problems too, as the device once configured cannot be used as a storage device and compared to zfs its functionality is less.

About the "personalization of files" that I had discussed with you last time...I have got a demonstration to make the point clear as to what I wanted to convey.
I shall tell you when we meet tomorrow. I found a new application which incorporates that.
